In this special Wandercraft class, creativity meets compassion! Kindness Creators is a hands-on art and craft class where students learn new skills while making projects that help others in our community. Each week students will create meaningful items that will be donated to local organizations. Projects may include loom-knit hats for shelters, handmade dog toys for animal rescues, cheerful cards for seniors, comfort items for hospitals, and other creative service projects. As students explore different crafting techniques like fiber arts, simple sewing, paper crafts, and mixed-media projects, they’ll also learn about the power of giving back. Kids will see how their creativity can brighten someone’s day and make a real difference. This class is perfect for kids who love making things with their hands and want to use their creativity to help others. Along the way they’ll build crafting skills, confidence, empathy, and a sense of pride in contributing to their community. At Wandercraft we believe creativity can travel far—and in this class it will carry kindness wherever it goes.
Students will:
• Learn a variety of arts and crafts skills
• Create projects that benefit local shelters and community groups
• Build empathy and community awareness
• Experience the joy of giving through creativity
· Take home projects that they make as well as donate projects!
Come craft, create, and let your kindness wander!

This beginning biology class will focus on animal anatomy and will include lots of dissection labs. This will be a fun and interesting way for kids to learn about different kinds of animals, and the body systems they possess. We will deep dive into some of the phyla, classes, and orders of the animal kingdom. Students should be mentally and physically mature enough to follow directions closely when doing the dissection labs. We will learn lab safety rules and will use the safest tools possible that work for each dissection. If you have a student who wants to learn more on these topics, but might be a bit squeamish about dissection, they are still welcome to join the class and just watch the dissection labs. No one will be forced to participate in any lab that makes them uncomfortable and I will always have a backup activity during dissection labs.
Note: this class will NOT include lessons on sexual reproduction.

Creative writing is an artistic and very personal expression. Creating a story or poem takes
imagination, creativity, and the time to write what comes to one’s head without over thinking it. In this creative writing class for beginners, students will practice creative writing through prompts, fun hands-on activities, and group collaborations. The class is designed for students to start a writing activity in class and finish it at home before the next class. Parents are encouraged to help at home with punctuation, grammar, and spelling. Each student will have a thesaurus of their own to expand on their creative writing skills and learn how to use a dictionary. As a published author, Ms. Mandee shares her journey through the writing and publishing process, the ups and the downs, to encourage them to unlock their creative spirit, and shoot for the stars!
